Aurelia L. 'Ea' (Albrecht) Radey

Aurelia L. “Ea” Radey, 91, Denmark, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2011. She was born December 23, 1919, in Green Bay, daughter of the late August and Minnie (Grupp) Albrecht. Aurelia married Anton Radey on August 31, 1937. They spent their lives together farming in the Town of Eaton. Anton passed away in March 1984. She was an active member of Emanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Henrysville most of her life. Aurelia enjoyed travelling around the country including Alaska and Hawaii. She especially enjoyed the bus trips and making new friends on these trips. Surviving are a daughter, Joyce (Carl) Reckelberg; a son, Jim Radey; grandchildren: Gary (Bev), Randy, Scott, and Tim (Deb) Reckelberg, and Blake Radey; great-grandchildren: Dr. Becky, Dennis, Wendy, Sara, and Tony Reckelberg; step grandchildren: Tiffany Johnson, Misty Key, and Justin Currao; a sister-in-law, Mary (Vic) Kozlovsky; and nieces and nephews. Aurelia was also preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Liebeck and Lila Johnson; and a brother, Gerhard Albrecht. She also lost a special niece, Gloria Shaw, earlier this year. Friends may call at Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Rd R, Denmark on Sunday, July 10, 2011, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Visitation continues on Monday, July 11th, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Emanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, 5794 Hwy 29, Henrysville, Town of Eaton. The funeral service will be conducted at the church on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul D. Schleis officiating.
