Arthur Kenny Gnewuch “Ken”, age 74, of De Pere, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 10, 2013. The son of the late Arthur and Ingebor (Holtan) Gnewuch was born June 6, 1939 in Green Bay. He graduated from East De Pere High School, went on to college at the University of Michigan and later graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He was a Certified Public Accountant for over 40 years in the Green Bay and De Pere area. His son David joined him in 1992 and they worked together for many years in the Accounting business. He was a member of the WICPA and AICPA, and a member of Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. Ken had a passion for golf, where he played many years at Oneida Golf Riding Club. He was a golf coach at St. Joseph’s Academy High School and both of his daughters were on the golf team. He was an avid Packer fan and loved going to Packer games with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing cards with his family, and loved being outdoors. He was also a member of the Quarterback Club, where he enjoyed getting together with his friends, having good conversations, talking about the Packers and predicting their next victory. Survivors include his children: David (special friend Julie Wery) Gnewuch, Tina (Tom) Dokken, Julie (special friend Laine Shields) Lenarduzzi, Chad (Tena) Gnewuch and their two children: Dillon and Carter Gnewuch; a brother: James “Pep” (Joyce) Gnewuch and a sister: Mary (Robert) Amirahmadi Dickinson; his special friend Betty DeTennis, former wife: Ann Hougard, many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, on Monday, December 16, from 5-7pm. A parish prayer service will be held at 7:00pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St, De Pere from 9:00am until the hour of Mass at 10:30am, with the Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, De Pere. The family would like to extend their thanks to the wonderful staff at Grancare Nursing Center for their kind and compassionate care for Ken and his family. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
