Arlin O. Seiltz

Arlin O. Seiltz, 88. Denmark, passed away at a local residential care home on Thursday, April 26, 2012. He was born in Pine Grove on October 23, 1923, son of the late Otto and Wilhelmina (Lemke) Seiltz. After serving in the U.S. Army, Arlin worked for Fairmont Foods in Green Bay until his retirement. He took a lot of pleasure working on various projects in his workshop and house, and enjoyed his trips around the United States. Arlin also enjoyed visiting his friends and neighbors. Surviving are his eight nieces and nephews: Harvey (Carol) Boeder, Frena (Ron) Scheid, Charlotte (Jerold) Wienandt, Walter (Darlene) Boeder, Janet (Mark) Schumacher, Otnie (Eric) Dechert, Royal (Barbara) Boeder, and Karen Boeder. He is further survived by many grand nephews, a grand niece, and many great grand nephews, cousins, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; his two sisters and their spouses: Vernet and John Sitzman, and Irma and Lorenz Boeder; and other relatives. He is further preceded in death by his longtime close friend, Bernice Lison. Friends of Arlin Seiltz may call on Sunday, April 29, 2012, from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at Shirley Immanuel Lutheran Church, 3735 Shirley Road, De Pere (Town of Glenmore). A service to celebrate his life will be held at the church on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, County NN at County R, Pine Grove.
