Arlene Dugre, age 78, of De Pere, passed away July 7, 2013. She was born to Bill and Helene (VanStraten) Johnson on April 19, 1935 in De Pere. She graduated from high school and married Harlan Dugre on September 8, 1956 in De Pere. She loved horses and raising German Shepherds, having partaken in several parades. Arlene and Harlan traveled frequently to show their horses together. Survivors include her children: Mark (Karen) Dugre, Clint (Sandy) Dugre, Wade (Sandy) Dugre, Wesley Dugre and Nicole (Terry) Lischka; grandchildren: Shawn and Cheryl Scray, Justin Dugre and Ashley (Mike Tovbin) Dugre, Brenda Dugre and Brayden Lischka; 4 great-grandchildren, Jenna, Emmalee Scray, Kali and Connor Dugre; two sisters: Gladys (Clayton) Bildings, and June Sommerfeld; a brother: Ozzie (Rose) Johnson; a sister-in-law, Pat Johnson and a special friend, Sarah Groat. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan; a grandson, Josh Dugre and a brother, Bill Johnson. Family and friends may visit at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Dr., Ledgeview on Thursday, July 11, from 9:00 until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Thursday, with the Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, De Pere.
