Anna Margaret (Tauschek) Weisse

July 31, 1927 — February 18, 2018

Anna Margaret (Tauschek) Weisse, 90, a long-long resident of Green Bay, died Sunday the 18th of February at Methodist Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Finally joining her husband, Roland, whom she missed dearly for thirty-two years. Born July 31, 1927 in New Franken, WI., Anna was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy and attended Fontbonne University in St. Louis, MO. Anna was a resident of Green Bay where she remained involved with family, raised her children and created many lasting friendships before moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota to be closer to family these last few years. Her family was her main priority and she made sure they knew how much she loved them and how proud she was of them on a daily basis. She also made sure they knew that cake for breakfast was A-OK in her book! Her Catholic faith was a pillar of her life. When she was still living in Green Bay, you would find her at St. Matthew’s for daily mass before joining her friends for breakfast of toast and coffee at the Allouez Café. She created many lasting friendships some through her years working at Prange’s where a big smile and friendly wave was her trademark. Her passing has left a hole in the hearts of her family forever. She is survived by her children; Terry of Edina, Minnesota, Peter of Carlton, Minnesota, Paul (Wendy)of Camano Island, Washington, Mary (Jeff) of Prospect Heights, Illinois, Tom (Mary) of Denver, Colorado, Ann of Shakopee, Minnesota, Lisa (Mic) of Edina, Minnesota; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Roland, parents, five siblings and son-in-law Mark Rocheford. We would like to thank all the staff at The Waters on 50th for welcoming our mother into their loving community. Thank you to the nurses and doctors at Methodist Hospital for showing so much compassion and providing wonderful care during her final stay. Family and friends may call at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 130 St Matthews St, Green Bay, on Monday, February 26, from 10:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial for Anna will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. Bob Kabat, officiating. Entombment will take place at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
