Anna Mae Micke

August 12, 1943 — July 27, 2016

Anna Mae (Vande Hey) Micke, age 72, of Kaukauna, WI, passed away peacefully at home on July 27, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones after a long illness. Anna Mae was born on August 12, 1943 in Wrightstown, WI, to the late Clayton and Lauretta (Verhagen) Vande Hey. On September 11, 1961 she married Douglas F. Micke, with whom she spent 54 loving years. Anna Mae worked at Ariens in Brillion, WI for 24 years before retiring in 1998. She enjoyed retirement up north with her family at the homes in Crandon and Lakewood. She enjoyed bowling, spending time up North, playing cards with family and friends as well as sneaking off to the casino with her mother. Anna Mae is survived by her husband, Douglas F. Micke; sons, Douglas R. (significant other Gina Meacham) Micke, Dennis (Vicki) Micke, Duane Micke; daughter, Debra (Richard) Wallington; grandchildren, Zachary (significant other Christy Biese) Micke, Chelsea (special friend Catrell Williams) Micke, Dereck Jordan, Leah Jordan, Jessica Kutzleb and Alexandria Micke; five great grandchildren; sister, Barbara (Glen) Kolmorgan; sister-in-laws, Pat (Brian) Eckberg, Sandy (Dick) Linskens, Donna (Jim) McCash and Eunice Micke as well as many nieces and nephews. Anna Mae is preceded in death by her father and mother; son, Daniel Micke, grandson, Baby Micke; brother, Jerome Vande Hey, Elmer Vande Hey; father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Eleanore (School) Micke; brothers-in-law, Roger and Nicholas Micke. Family and Friends may visit at St. Clare Catholic Parish-St. Paul Site, Wrightstown, on Monday, August 1, 2016 from 9:00am until 10:45am. The Mass of Christian Burial for Anna will be celebrated at 11:00am with Rev. Brian Wideman officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Wrightstown. Cotter Funeral Home of Wrightstown is assisting the family.
