Ann Manke

Ann M. Manke, age 76, passed away on August 31, 2023. She was born November 17, 1946 in Milwaukee to the late Jerome and Gertrude (Stransky) Leipzig. Ann attended St. Pius XI and then attained a nursing degree.

After meeting while working at the Milwaukee Journal, Ann married Gerald “Jerry” Manke at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Wauwatosa on May 1, 1965. Together they shared 57 years of devotion and adoration. This union blessed them with a daughter, Michelle.

Ann and Jerry enjoyed traveling together and volunteering at the Fox Valley Humane Association. She was a registered nurse at Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee and later for Caremark.

She is survived by her daughter Michelle (Paul Olejniczak) Manke of De Pere and her sister Jeanne Anderson.

In addition to her parents, her husband Jerry preceded her in death.
