Anita Sabetti King Anita King, age 94, Bellevue, passed away Monday morning, April 20, 2015, surrounded by her family. Anita, born in Eveleth, MN, November 22, 1920, was the daughter of Michael and Maria Sabetti. She graduated from Eveleth High School, Eveleth Junior College and the University of Minnesota-St. Cloud. On July 21, 1945, she married William S. King, Jr.; they enjoyed 69 wonderful years together. They moved to Green Bay, WI, in 1953. Anita taught at Nicolet School, retiring in 1984. She was a member of the N.E.A., W.E.A.C. and Brown County Teacher’s Association. Bill and Anita spent their winter retirement years in Green Valley, AZ. Anita enjoyed curling, shuffleboard, bridge, reading, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, traveling, the Packers and family reunions. In addition to her husband, Bill, Anita is survived by three children: Diane (Bill) Mikolyzk, Scott (Gail) King and Stephen (Cindy) King; 7 grandchildren: Kristen (Dr. Chad) Hoitink of Hartford, WI, Jon (Carrie) Mikolyzk of Prior Lake, MN, Dr. David (Patricia) Mikolyzk of Manitowoc, WI, Anna Westphal of Waunakee, WI, Alex King (fiancée Kari Kaeding) of Crystal, MN, and Andrew and Amanda King of Green Bay. She is further survived by 12 great-grandchildren: Madeline, Ben, Mallory and Charlie Hoitink, Jaxon, Rocco and Zeke Mikolyzk, Marco and Leo Mikolyzk, Paige, Marah and Tate Westphal, as well as many nieces and nephews that she dearly loved. Anita was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Maria Sabetti, 4 sisters: Carmen (Henry) Peterson, Lillian Sabetti, Lydia (Allen) Dobner and Dorothy (Jack) Feagin; 5 brothers: Nick (Beatrice) Sabetti, Lewis (Ann) Sabetti, Anthony (Juanita, Doris) Sabetti, Victor (Mary) Sabetti and Dante (June) Sabetti. Family and friends may visit at Resurrection Catholic Parish, 333 Hilltop Drive, Allouez, on Friday, April 24, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday with the Most Reverend Robert Morneau officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd at Nicolet Memorial Gardens on Bay Settlement Road will take place at a later date. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. The family would like to extent a special thank you to Drs. Rupp, Gallion and Sandmire as well as to the 3rd and 5th floor nursing staffs at St. Mary’s Hospital for their loving care of our mother during the past week.
