Allen "Bud" Corrigan

Allen J. Corrigan, 85, De Pere, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011. He was born September 10, 1926 in De Pere, son of the late Patrick and Lavinia (Carter) Corrigan. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II, primarily on the U.S.S. Missouri. Allen was married to the former Beverly Thyes who passed away in 1982. He retired from Proctor Gamble in the fall of 1986. Allen was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, De Pere. He enjoyed tending his lawn and playing cards with his friends at The Corner Bar in Ledgeview. Surviving are three daughters: Gail Rebman (Mike Denis), Green Bay; Carol (Roger) Olson, De Pere; and Diane Hubbard, Green Bay; a son, Kelly Corrigan, town of Scott; and four grandchildren: Carrie Targaczewski, Green Bay; Megan Olson, Tucson, Ariz.; Daniel Olson, Green Bay; and Eric (Jenny) Rebman, Green Bay. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beverly; a daughter, Lynn Targaczewski; four brothers and five sisters. Friends may call at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere, on Saturday, December 17, 2011 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church on Saturday at 11:30 AM with Rev. Richard Getchel officiating.
