Adeline Sophia Petersen, 93, Wrightstown, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015. She was born July 10, 1921 in the town of Wrightstown, daughter to the late Herman and Sophia (Peterson) Petersen. Adeline graduated from Wrightstown High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1950. She also graduated and interned at Stanford University Hospitals, School of Dietetics in 1951. Adeline worked at Theda Clark Hospital in Neenah, Manitowoc Hospital, Two Rivers Hospital, and Phoenician Nursing Home as a Registered Dietician. She loved her cats and feeding birds. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wrightstown. Survivors include two brothers, Elton (Mary) Petersen, Carl (Ila) Petersen; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and a Godchild, Sharon Petersen. Adeline was preceded in death by her parents; one infant brother, Edward; sister, Helen; a nephew, Brian Petersen; nephew-in-law, Norman Falish. Family and friends may call Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at DeWane-Cotter Funeral Home, 711 Main St., Wrightstown. There will be a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev.
